Fake! 30 Days Free
FAKE TRIAL!!! HBO is trying to profit off the Coronavirus (and mostly promote the coming HBO Max) by claiming to offer 30 days free starting today, April 3, 2020. THIS IS FAKE!! On neither iOS nor Roku is this true. Both app platforms announce the trial is only 7 days AND you have to agree to pay afterward. You literally have to email or call them by day 6 (24 hours before day 7) to cancel or they will charge you 14.99$. DO NOT FALL FOR THIS FAKE “Free for 30 days because of Coronavirus” scam. It’s despicable.

No Subscription Needed? Only If You Want To Watch!
I put this on my iPhone and my Kindle Fire. Both open advertising you can watch without subscribing but neither goes past showing what is available unless I create an account and give it access (on the Fire — the only one I tried) to my Amazon account. I deleted it from the cloud at that point. It was also only a 7 day free trial that I was to pay $14+ for.

App is Well... Crap
For a premium service that charges what ATT does, this app is so antiquated. Like everything that comes out of that organization, it’s about greed and money not quality. There business model is all M&As and zero refinement, I’ll be curious if HBO Max is any better...
With HBO NOW you can watch big premieres as they air—plus every episode of any HBO series such as Game of Thrones, His Dark Materials, Watchmen and so much more.
