Do not use for personal clinical tracking

Just purchased this app. I’ve tried a number of different ways to use this app (based on its instructions and feedback in the reviews). I installed it on an iPhone. It is so far off it shouldn’t be used if your physician has asked you to track. I’m an old medic and have a pulse oximeter-side by side this app is way off. On occasion the 02 level is close-but with so much variation it can’t be relied on. As for the BPM-not even close. You’re better off buying a pulse oximeter and tracking manually. This was a great idea, but not ready for prime time.

I’m a pulmonary lung patient and I tested this on my iphone11 next to my Walgreens finger monitor and it was highly inaccurate. The phone said 98% oxygen while my finger said 93% which is more normal for me. I’m hardly at 98% ever, even with oxygen. I tried it several times as well. I wish there could be an Apple Watch app integrated with your oxygen stat, I mean you have heartbeat? Why not a person’s O2?

The app is useless my BPM is always 53 and my SpO2 is always 98, it never changes. I know it’s wrong because I have two oximeters, one medically calibrated. At best this a waste of money, dangerous if you believe the inaccurate results.

The Pulse Oximeter app measures both Heart Rate and Oxygen Saturation. The app integrates with Apple Health. There's no need for an external device. YOUR PHONE IS ALL YOU NEED.

The Pulse Oximeter app is for use by sports users who are interested in knowing their blood oxygenation level (SpO2) and Heart Rate. The Pulse Oximeter app is NOT INTENDED FOR MEDICAL USE.
