I hate this streaming service
It does NOT buffer, there is NO way to resolve a laggy video that is not fully loaded. I have gig-speed internet and even on an Ethernet cable the CBS streaming lags HARD. It makes any show basically unwatchable. Also, even when you pay $6 a month they still have the gall to force you to sit through 90 seconds of unskippable ads 4-5 times an episode. I’m very annoyed that they can’t get basic video quality right and it makes the only show I want to watch unwatchable. So, don’t waste your time on this. To try to resolve the laggy video I’ve tried pausing it, rewinding, killing the app and restarting, but nothing works - it looks like you are watching bad stop-motion with how jerky the video is. I tested my speed - >400 MBPS download so it is 100% on CBS that this is happening.

Can’t get local tv
The default local station is determined by GPS and cannot be changed manually. I live between New York City and Philadelphia in New Jersey, and even though I live closer to NYC, I can only get local TV out of Philly. I prefer the local NYC station and I don’t understand why I can’t change this manually. I have similar problem in Florida where I have a home that is roughly halfway between West Palm Beach and Miami. Update: Now my local station is randomly flipping back and forth between New York and Philadelphia. I never know which channel I’m going to get when I turn on the TV. Also, local station out of Philly audio cuts in and out.

I hate your app
I just want to cancel this horrible app but nothing is allowing me to cancel. Not through Apple and not through your load of steaming bile that is your app. The only thing good on it is Picard. I hate this with an undying passion and I will be filing a fraud alert on the payment because you won’t let me cancel
