Suddenly you have to pay $12.99 for the “extras”
This is BS. I paid for the full app after my baby was born about nine months ago. At that time the full app included access to the ebook which was partially why I got it. There was no “upgrade” option. I never got around to looking at the book because I assumed I would have access since I paid for the full app. I just now went to look at it and suddenly you have to pay $12.99 for an upgrade that is just for 6 months of access to the “extras”, which honestly don’t look like they are worth it since you can find similar things for free. This is clearly a cash grab and as another reviewer pointed out, sometimes the science behind this is questionable. Just internet search “wonder weeks scientific evidence” and you’ll find all you need to know. The only good thing about this app is that it does calm the nerves of nervous new parents when you might be at your wits end after a fussy day, but take it with a grain of salt and always pay attention to your child’s signs and needs in case there’s actually something wrong.

Used to be great before update...
I have followed the wonder weeks with both of my kids. I was excited that the app provided a list of skills that you could see after a leap. However, they updated the app and completely changed the information. There is now an extensive list of signs your baby is going thru a leap (almost every behavior known to man is listed) but the list of skills learned after the leap is subpar at best. I guess they want you to pay for the ebook. Also the information is the same leap after leap. I wish I could have a refund as this app is now useless. I also read some of the developers responses to 1 star reviews, and I want to say that the information previously provided IS NOT still available in the app. The information available is mediocre and does not provide detail as it did before. Please change it back, or include the previously provided detailed information again.

I’m not crazy!
This app has been so very helpful in explaining at least one reason why life with DD keeps changing just when a get things figured out. When I realize that her behavior seems to be a consistently new pattern (especially fussiness, sleep regression, Appetite change etc), it is so helpful to check this app to see what might be triggering it besides a physical growth spurt. So helpful to know we’re not crazy, that something really is changing for her — even if we can’t “fix” it.
