    Paid features don’t work

I paid for the extra features on the app and they don’t even work. This app seriously needs an update for the total $14 they make you pay for the app and “extra” features. The white noise is a nice “extra” feature, but the “extra” video monitor doesn’t even work because it won’t scan the qr code necessary to use a separate device. The checklists and milestones aren’t easy to find in the app and would be better if it were a separate set of checklists under the “checklists” tab. Also, if I’m going to pay to have the audiobook and ebook included I would expect to be able to have those features accessible as a separate download. After all, I PAID for it. Overall this app isn’t easy to navigate and I’m extremely frustrated that I paid fo much money for features that don’t even work! 😡

    Extremely confusing

This app is very poorly designed in terms of how information is organized and presented. Nothing is intuitive or clear. I went to the Wonder Weeks website to see if I could get clarity and it is no better! Also the app is full of typos and inconsistent language. For example one page says “look on the milestones tab.” But there is no tab labeled “milestones.” There’s a tab labeled “Leaps” (Is that what they mean by “milestones” tab? Who knows?) but the info I was looking for did not seem to be there. Very frustrating. $3.99 is not a lot of money but I’m still sorry I paid for this.

    Not good

It’s just not good. The timing of these developments is off, its stuff you can find for free online with actual week by week development, not just a few things every 6 weeks or so, plus this is incredibly vague information. And the app is not well designed. All in all a giant waste, don’t let the other reviews fool you and don’t waste your money on this.

International experts on The Wonder Weeks:
“This is a very practical and entertaining window into the baby’s first year and a half. van de Rijt and Plooij have observed and found the vulnerable times in an infant’s development that I independently came to in my research. The authors’ observations and practical suggestions are wonderful.”
-T. Berry Brazelton, M.D., professor emeritus, Harvard Medical School

"Anyone who deals with infants and young children will want to read The Wonder Weeks. This book will open parents' eyes to aspects of their children's growth, development, changing behavior, and emotional responsiveness that they might otherwise not notice or find puzzling and distressing."
