But the app, not the subscription

The app is great, very helpful even with my third baby. But the additional features at $2.99/month are not worth it and should just be included in the app itself. Unless you’re going to use the monitor feature, which seems cool if you haven’t actually bought a baby monitor, the other extras are marginal added value. The white noise was alluring but not functionally useful because they run for only a few minutes and then stop. Even if you click the “continual sound” option, it pauses briefly every few minutes and then restarts- which wakes both me and the baby due to the absence of what should be helpful white noise!! It’s nice to have the audio book in the extras, but I chose the app over the book for a reason and could get it from the library for free or from Audible for less than $2.99/month.

    Helpful but glitchy

The information itself is useful and has lined up pretty accurately with my son’s due date, even though he was born 3 weeks early. However, the app seems kind of glitchy (verified with other users as well). When he was mid leap 2 the countdown in the app correctly showed “8 days until end of current leap” but the text said “22 days until leap 2”. If all I needed was a correct countdown I wouldn’t have purchased the app. Hoping it can be fixed soon as the app isn’t very useful without the additional information.

    Very confusing

I followed directions and entered my sons due date not his DOB. It says his next leap not for 7 days, but then gives a great deal of information. Can’t tell if they’re talking about previous leap or upcoming! I looked at the calendar and can see little icons but can’t click to see info about each leap. I thought app would be easier to follow than website but am extremely disappointed that i paid for this. Overall this app is very confusing and I’m not a fan!

International experts on The Wonder Weeks:
“This is a very practical and entertaining window into the baby’s first year and a half. van de Rijt and Plooij have observed and found the vulnerable times in an infant’s development that I independently came to in my research. The authors’ observations and practical suggestions are wonderful.”
-T. Berry Brazelton, M.D., professor emeritus, Harvard Medical School

"Anyone who deals with infants and young children will want to read The Wonder Weeks. This book will open parents' eyes to aspects of their children's growth, development, changing behavior, and emotional responsiveness that they might otherwise not notice or find puzzling and distressing."
