Last 2 updates made it WORSE - Crash n Freeze
[ Edited 02/07/2020 — RE: Updates v2.19.4 and v2.19.5] ISSUE: Crash or Freeze, either or - you lose your work! Snapseed USE to be able to do several, complicated & consecutive edits. NO MORE! I use a 10” iPad Pro (512gb) Ever since iOS 13, Google has had 2-3 updates, none of which have been stable. I’ve resorted to having to delete & download SnapSeed - which seems to help BUT only for a short time; ends up starting to freeze again. CONCLUSION: great app, however - no longer great for any lengthy editing. Googles last two updates have been crap. RANT: Like everything Google touches - it seems to go to crap. I’ve used SnapSeed for the last several years, long before it was ever free, long before Google purchased it. YES ...purchased. Google didn’t create SnapSeed. HISTORY: Google only bought SnapSeed - they didn’t make it. The debunk photo software company, “NIK,” created the mobile app to reflect several of it’s desktop photo programs they had also created. SnapSeed actually was a $5 app. The one good thing Google did when they acquired NIK was to release all of NIK’s desktop apps for free. Unfortunately, I think they no longer have a public link for the software anymore.

Excellent photo editor!
Snapseed accomplishes my mission perfectly. For casual photography with my phone, I get extremely pleasing results. I do mild edits, primarily to bring out desired details and lighting that aren’t always picked up with the camera. There are a few features of Snapseed that I do not utilize, but the ones I do have not let me down. I have had zero bugs/issues in over a year of use. I just switched phones and it was on my download immediately list.

Go-to pro editor on iPhone
Incredible editor I use for delivering IG ready files for clients. 4 suggestions: Don’t rename my files “Snapseed” after editing, it adds an extra step for us. Fix the Blur tool, it’s just not intuitive, reverse it. Add a “Censoring” feature. Many of us need to censor nipples in an attractive way. Add support for .arw and .tif files Otherwise this app is near perfect, keep up the great work!
