Thought it a 5, but no, it is not

I’ve had SkyView for several years and thought it was great; would have rated it a five. But after all the news coverage of Comet Neowise I thought I’d try using the app to find it. Nope; search returns nothing. Brightest Northern Hemisphere comet since Hale-Bopp but the app doesn’t know of it? That was a letdown. I was also frustrated to learn that the developer site - terminaleleven(dot)com - has no help functionality or really anything but a sales pitch. Clearly, once you get the app they’re done with you. I give it 2 stars because it is really pretty good as long as nothing new comes along in the night sky, and as long as the user has no questions.

    No comet Neowise?

Yes the app is awsome and I used the free one for years. The paid version offers satellites which is very cool and worth the 1.99. But you’d think they could add the Neowise comet which is the brightest thing in the sky and a rare sight to see!. Disappointed that it’s not in the search or available on screen. Oh well, maybe they’ll add it next time around in 6000 years.

    I love it except…

… That it never appears to be accurate. It’s not just this particular time but right now I’m looking up at the sky and I see Jupiter and Saturn easily hand apart in the sky. The app shows them one on top of the other. Every time I look up I see some thing that is different from what’s on the app and I don’t know why…
