Objectionable business practices
A serviceable app with a huge library. The subscription system is, however, abhorrent. I don’t mind paying $10 for an audio book but the fact that you can’t do so without a subscription is annoying. Audible hikes the prices of its books if you don’t have a subscription in an attempt to strong arm you into paying for the wholly unnecessary subscription. Lastly, even with a subscription you have to buy credits 3 at a time. This way if you only wanted one more book you still get stuck buying 3. I can’t, in good conscience, support such an anti-consumer business model.

Latest update made app unusable. Again.
The most recent set of updates have made the app progressively worse. This is an ongoing problem with the audible app. Every few months they push an update that makes it difficult or impossible to listen to audiobooks through the app. Now every time I try to play a book, I get the error, “We’re sorry, but there was a problem. Please try again.” Really helpful. /s I’ve tried again. I’ve tried closing and relaunching the app. I’ve tried restarting the phone. Same useless error every time.

This book is very informational. I learned so much about the impact traditional school discipline have on students who struggle with challenging behavior. We human tend to resist change and think we know what is best for the student’s we work with. After reading this book I gain a deeper insight that change can be good. It also taught me self-awareness and to be open to changes. I will be implementing Plan B with the students I worked with.
