ACNH Travel Guide
New Horizons companion app

This Travel Guide provides one of the most well thought out and smoothly presented interfaces of any app on my phone - period. Every UI designer in the world ought to carefully study it. A feature request would be the ability to select/indicate the turnip price pattern for a particular week so that one mustn’t have to re-enter it into the third-party turnip tracking website it has otherwise smoothly integrated its data collection into. The downside to using Travel Guide relates to crashes. Tapping the app to launch it has, unfortunately, resulted in a success rate of about 1/6 on some days, worse on other days, and if it does manage to open up, leaving it open for too long will apparently cause it to crash in the background so that, when returning to it from a different app (or even the home screen), it is completely frozen and unresponsive. This behavior has persisted across version updates of both the Travel Guide itself and iOS. Restarting my phone makes no difference. I have high hopes for this app! When I can open it, it’s nearly everything I could dream of it being. If only opening it could happen on a reliable basis. ========== July 13 Update: The crashes that had plagued me for too long haven’t occurred in some time so I’d like to thank Jeffrey for the continued support and optimizations made to the app since I’d previously submitted my review. Also, the feature request I’d included in that review has been implemented so what’s not to love? This is a great app from a great dev and I can’t recommend it highly enough.

Best animal crossing app!
I love this app! It’s the best animal crossing app. I use it everyday, one of my favorite things is the daily tasks. I love lists and checking things off so having all the daily tasks laid out and checking them off is so satisfying, plus it helps me remember what I need to do. I really like that you can customize your daily tasks as well to have things such as water flowers, check shops, find furniture in trees, etc. Another thing I love about the app is keeping track of weekly visitors; Flick, C.J., Redd, Gulliver, Leaf, etc. It also notifies me up of upcoming events; bug off, fish tourney, villager birthdays. I love that it has a complete (and always updated list) of the bugs, fish, fossils, art, flowers, etc and that I can also check these off to keep track of what I’ve gotten. On top of having the full lists, it also tells you when the bug is in season, when it’s available, where it’s available and the selling prices. I could go on forever about all the amazing features of this app! I highly recommend downloading, you won’t regret it.

The only guide you need
I am consistently stunned by this app and its ongoing support. Brilliantly designed, endlessly customizable, and absolutely indispensable. The developer listens to feedback and is always on top of updates to the game, something the official guide book cannot do. It’s a premium product in the truest sense of the word, heads and shoulders above everything else I’ve seen on any platform. ❤️
