Yes the app does what it says. But there are some issues which for me make it mostly unusable. The apps almost always blow out highlights and it looks bad. Secondly it over saturates the images. Those two things really ruin how effective the app is and it’s really a waste. Obviously with night mode on the new iPhones this app is dead. Apple’s native approach looks much more natural and organic. I guess if you have a older phone this is your only option.

Too much overexposure
I was excited to read all the good review for this app and decided to buy yesterday even when ios13 is coming out with the new night mode. After a couple of test, the photo taken with native app on iPhone Xs and then edited with brightness increased looks better compared to the one shot with this app. This app creates area of overexposure where there were not supposed to be. Not worth buying, unless this is fixed.

This app does what it says but I found a free app called long exposure that does just as well with no watermarks! as long as you have a tripod both of them will work well. although this app does have a wider view than the free app long exposure also takes faster pics And doesn't need to "process"

Best night photos on your iPhone, powered by AI. Deemed as the best iPhone camera app for night photos by 9to5Mac. Featured on 9to5mac / VentureBeat / TheNextWeb / BGR / PetaPixel / DPReview / SlashGear / LAUNCH Ticker / Product Hunt "#1 Product of The Day" VentureBeat: “There’s no question that low-light images captured with NeuralCam look markedly better overall than ones taken with the iPhone’s integrated camera app, if not perfect.” 9to5mac: “NeuralCam is not just the best iPhone camera app for night shots, but it is head-and-shoulders above the other apps.” The Next Web: “The good thing is you can run it even if you have a model as old as an iPhone 6. (..) Pretty useful in extremely dark conditions.” NeuralCam is the Night Mode camera app for your iPhone. Shoot vivid, brighter and clearer images in low light conditions, with no tripod or other equipment needed. NeuralCam blends computational photography and machine learning to bring the most out of your low-light shots. How it works: - Open the app and hold your camera steady for a few seconds as you take the photo. - NeuralCam captures a varying number of frames and uses advanced image processing algorithms and machine learning to intelligently merge the frames and brighten the colours to obtain a single high-quality image. - Image processing completes in a few seconds (this might vary depending on your device type). - The result: a clearer, brighter, sharper, more defined, and colourful image. - Swipe down on the photo to go back to camera view NeuralCam - Night Camera helps you shoot: - Beautiful night photos - Night selfies without using flash - Macros in low light settings Tag your unedited photos with the #neuralcam hashtag or send us your best shots at firstname.lastname@example.org for a chance to get featured on our social channels. Well done NeuralCam - True NightSight competitor. - Without a doubt the best app to take photos in low light, and I bought and tried them all! - Gives new life to an already accomplished iPhone XS camera.
