    Good but could be better

Re. developer response: thanks for getting back to me but unfortunately the below problem still stands. Getting the notifications saying “1hr/30min left” remain inaccurate if my desired end time is 7:15pm and my Simple settings require me to put end time of either 7pm or 7:30pm. Also, I still get unwanted content notifications though I already turned them off in my settings, which makes me want to turn them off altogether. — Original review: I just started using Simple and so far have found it pretty good for tracking my meals and it’s encouraging to see the different states my body goes through as I fast. Unfortunately this app requires you to set your fast times either on the hour, or 30min past the hour; nothing in between. This is a big problem for me as my husband and I have chosen to do our fasts at 15min past, meaning I don’t get any of the notifications and alerts to start my fast at the right time. My husband uses a different app that allows him to choose the time down to the minute. I’ve stuck with Simple because I like that there’s Watch compatibility, but if I’m not getting the notifications I need then it may be pointless anyway. As such I may have to switch to using the same app as him instead. I wish Simple would allow us to actually select custom fasting times, then I’d definitely stick to it.

Why doesn’t fasting end time change?

When I start fasting it always gives me until 6:30pm. I am sure i put that time in when I registered but it doesn’t update when I start my meals at a new time. Sometimes I eat at 10am and sometimes not until 1 pm. Shouldn’t the end time for eating change as well? If there is something I’m doing wrong, please let me know but this one thing is driving me nuts.

    In-love with this app

Animated Graphics are cute, the food log is just the cat’s meow! It’s so SIMPLE to use, hahaha - other 🥘 logs I find stressful, they require amount of information for each meal but with simple, you simply enter your meal!!! Im on my second day and just loving it 👌

Simple fasting and meal tracker app is the easiest way to keep track of your eating habits, get personalized insights about your health, and make your daily fasting routine better. Benefit from the most popular, healthy, and effective weight-loss method, trusted by hundreds of millions adopters worldwide!

Perfect for establishing a basic eating discipline, Simple is ideal for keeping yourself in good shape during self-isolation, with our educational and motivational content on staying mindful about your eating habits.

Popularized by celebrities like Hugh Jackman and Beyoncé, intermittent fasting is the most ancient eating pattern known to humans. It's trusted in most religions, but anyone can use its benefits.

Unlike popular new fads, intermittent fasting makes your body work precisely as it was designed by mother nature. It helps lose and control your weight and reinstating normal processes in your body that you’ve lost due to frequent eating.

Even shorter fasting periods (12 hours or more) may result in weight loss, improved metabolic flexibility, and lower the risk of metabolic diseases.

Just remember: IF is not a diet, fad or quick fix. It does not tell you what you can’t eat but instead asks that you eat within a specific window of time each day. This is a simple lifestyle change that will jump-start weight loss and better health by enabling your metabolic system to work as it was designed.

But many people are deterred from trying IF because they think it’s difficult and they don't know how to start.

That’s where Simple comes in. You don't have to know anything about Fasting.

Because we are not just a fasting tracker, our mission is not to offer you just an Intermittent Fasting tool. We provide you health, weight loss, and cognitive power instead.

We'll adjust your customized program, teach you what IF is, give a lot of different content, lifehacks, and advice to make IF adoption mindful and easy.
