Forced to download if I wanted access to my own files
I really hope there’s another explanation for this, because if there isn’t it’s ridiculous and unfair and frankly somewhat coercive. I plugged my iphone 6s into my windows 10 computer to transfer my photos. Typically you open your desktop or file explorer and you find the USB drives, right? Not anymore! I scoured my computer, I scoured every single folder under “my PC”, I searched myPC for “usb” and only found settings that told me “the device is working properly”. Next step was the “your phone” tool, which claims all sorts of improvements and conveniences, which is a load of crap. In order to access MY photos from MY phone and put them on MY computer, I was taken to a step wherein I had to download this app before I could continue with the sync. This is utterly ridiculous. Nobody uses this browser. Is it an attempt to inflate your product because you know nobody uses it but lots of people will give in for access to THEIR OWN FILES from THEIR OWN DEVICES? I guess it’s true that our belongings no longer actually belong to us, since we’re at the mercy of bad updates that remove functionality while pretending they’re trying to improve it.

Huge resource hog
I do not pay for extra cloud storage because I don’t really have a lot on my phone anyway, however what I do have, I want backed up like important things such as my contacts. I couldn’t figure out why I kept running out of storage on iCloud until I started deleting unused apps and then checking my storage capacity. Once I deleted Microsoft Edge, my capacity jumped by 3GB. Wow, why doesn’t Microsoft share the fact that they utilize so much of your personal storage? I went from 4.6GB down to 1.4GB. That’s huge when iCloud only offers you 5GB of free storage. Goodbye Microsoft Edge!!! That was an easy decision.

Mover Safari there’s a new browser in town
Before I got my phone, all I ever used on my windows 10 laptop was Edge and it was fast and reliable on there, and the same (if not better) on mobile. I enjoy the dark mode as it makes it easier to look at for a longer period of time, and it seems to just be able to search faster than Safari and the security settings for like privacy and clearing Cookies is easy to setup and reliable to what I have encountered. Love Almost every Microsoft app/product I use and this is no exception!
