    Things have changed

The settings of easy or hard have changed. I’ve noticed that even on the easy setting, if you’re playing 8-ball, if you miss a shot - the cpu will clear the table taking slop and rediculous shots. The cpu has always taken slop, but the defensive play is close to expert... always leaving you no shot... bummer! You expect that on the more difficult settings. Sometimes you just want a simple game without playing a computer that if it is allowed to - will simply not miss. Even on the easy setting... when I used to play “in the real world”, if you sank the 8 ball on the break - you won. Maybe that’s not in the “by the book” rules, but that’s been my experience...

This could be a 5 but.....

The unwieldy touch controls make me want to rage quit every time I play. It’s entirely too easy to accidentally start drawing back while trying to aim and vice versa. Get my aim perfectly lined up only to let go and have it jump 180 degrees on me. The camera a bit f’d too, nothing shows how many balls I sank on the break. The f’d camera doesn’t make counting them easy either. These are minor but the controls ruin what could be a near perfect game.

    Too easy?

The balls are almost half the size of the pockets.... I played two rounds against the CPU and got all of them in before it even got a turn. It would be nice if you could set the ball size for something a little more challenging. Also, two times I got hit with ads where I couldn’t close them after the timer ran out. I had to close and re-open the app. Kind of annoying...
