Roomba 7+ & Braava M6— Not so great
I got the 7+ and M6 to help me with housework. I have pets and they are shedding, the constant need to clean aggravates my back. 1. So... the 7+ did not map my entire house. No obstructions, it just didn’t decide to go everywhere when it was trained. I will pick it up and lead it to the rooms it missed. It’ll clean and find its way back. Problem: it doesn’t redesign the house map and I don’t get the option to add the room. Although it does go in this room by itself, it doesn’t go all the way in without me picking it up and relocating it. 2. I need the map to identify where (Roomba & Braava) are stuck and an alarm option would be nice. Send me a notification of where it is, please! 3. Both will let themselves run out of charge midjob and will not return to the base prior to recharge. The device should be programmed to return to the base when it has <5 mins of charge left. I’d hoped I could trust to use this when not at home and there are so many issues with them getting stuck or dying that that cannot happen. 4. The fact that the Braava can’t climb anything is ridiculous. It can neither walk up nor down a threshold. It’s best on an open floor. This needs an update immediately. And in doing so, it needs to be able to detect carpet vs floor. 5. My Braava is so confused half the time. So mad at this purchase. If it’s not spinning in circles, it’s randomly cleaning. It’s not set to spot clean. It won’t clean the entire floor. Just huge gaps of streaks. 6. Not enough us being sprayed to clean. My home is over 1600sq ft. That’s not enough solution to clean and it barely sprays at all. 7. The Braava cleaning solution needs to come in bigger increments with a spout. And what’s in it. Does it disinfect? The fact that I’m stuck using a bottle of cleaner that I can’t confirm cleans or else I void my warranty is voided, is ridiculous. 9. The Braava should come with 1 reusable/ washable dry mop and 1 reusable/washable wet mop. The fact that it comes with a single use dry/wet mop attachment is not only cheap but it’s environmentally wasteful. Both, should come with a coupon code to use for your first accessory purchase. 10. Please push another update. For these devices to cost so much, you’d think the technology would be superior. And each device as equally as superior as the other. That’s not the case here.

App needs improvement
A few weeks ago, I bought the Roomba S9+ vacuum and matching Braava m6 mop. The combination immediately made my house noticeably cleaner (I walk around barefoot, and could easily tell). The vacuum frequently gets stuck on bathroom mats, socks, shoelaces, charging cables and the like. It would be wonderful if the app let me ask Roomba to sound a noise so I could locate it. Sometimes that feature is available, but more often it is not. This feature should be always available. I’d like to look at the app and see which room the vacuum or mop are in. Almost always, the app doesn’t say. This feature should be always available. I’d like to be able to change the order of rooms that get cleaned when I say Clean All. I’d also like to be able to resume where the robot left off. Routine troubleshooting tends to needlessly reset that status.

App crashes when trying to change room borders
Please fix the bug which occurs when trying to edit room borders. My app completely freezes and then crashes, and I end up having to 1) delete the smartmap and 2) redo multiple training runs which takes forever. Please contact me so that I may help you submit a bug report if you need. I will change to five stars once this is fixed because this is literally the only thing I am unhappy about with this app. Everything else works flawlessly (scheduling, notifications about roomba cleaning progress or bin status, etc) The robot itself works great - this review is concerning the flawed room border adjustment in the app
